MISSION: Provide you with stand out creative, on strategy, with results. LINDA WREN: resourceful, creative and strategic. Linda relishes any challenge she is presented with. RESOURCEFUL: Linda has created two businesses from scratch. 2002 • PT Works LLC
Linda and husband/partner, Matt Wren, decided to open their own physical therapy clinic. While Matt saw patients, Linda learned how to write a business plan, how to establish HR policies and procedures, and all the intricacies involved in a physical therapy clinic. Linda handled all the financial aspects of the business; all print and media marketing materials, as well as media and marketing planning; long range planning; and branding all aspects of PT Works, both internal and external. The clinic quickly grew from 2 to 14 employees. 1990 • Martin Retail
When Linda, and creative partner Allen Wimett, were presented with too many assignments for two to handle, The Martin Agency said ‘handle it...do whatever you need to do to get the work done.’ Handle it they did. They founded a division of Martin called Martin Retail. It handled all the fast turn-around jobs Martin could not handle. In six years the division grew from 2 to 16 full-time employees and 40 freelancers working in a virtual office via internet. Linda established the logistics to manage the multiple projects, and proved to The Martin Agency a virtual office could work, prior to virtual offices becoming mainstream. CREATIVE: Since graduating from Carnegie Mellon University in 1981, Linda has spent most of her career creating solutions for strategic communications for such clients as Nike, Bank One, Residence Inn, Turner Movie Channel, Mercedes, Columbia Hospitals, Seiko and Pulsar accounts. Her creative approach is simplicity, not only visual, but in a clean, clear and strategic brand message. STRATEGIC: Linda has learned about marketing strategy at numerous agencies. She distinguished PT Works from the competition, not only in advertising, but in mission and both external and internal brand. Her goal was to position PT Works as expert in sports rehab and training. Linda developed products and training to implement that position – all on a minimal budget. Sheltering Arms noticed, and in 2010 purchased PT Works for its recognizable brand.
